If there is only one lifestyle change that you make to get healthy and slim, cut out sugar.

High cholesterol levels of the bad type is not due to eating foods high in cholesterol, but eating foods high in sugar. The sugar is converted by the liver into triglycerides which are the culprits for all the negative symptoms of high cholesterol levels.
